Contributing artists include Jepthe Guillaume and Quentin Harris. Yes it’s a remake of the infamous 80s Yoko Ono track. Very true to the original in a lot of ways with it’s leftfield synths and vocal acrobatics, right on the money. This remake varies nicely in that it’s all grounded with a lively afro feeling rhythm guitar and upfront congas that along with that familiar bassline give it a very warm accessible feel overall. The alternate takes really shine, especially the MAW dub which strips it all down to the bare essentials and leaves you with a hardened up beat, cowbell, whirling vocal effects and those eerie synths. Also not to be missed is the very useful Keyapella.
